Acupuncture for Vision disorders

MYOPIA: That error of refraction in which rays of light entering the eye parallel to the optic axis are brought to a focus in front of the retina, as a result of the eyeball being too long from front to back (axial myopia) or of an increased strength in refractive power of the media of the eye (index myopia).
Treatment: TONIFY LIVER  (Tonify KD10 & LV8, Sedate LU8 & LV4)

HYPEROPIA: Farsightedness or hyperopia occurs when a refractive error in which light rays entering the eye are focused behind the retina. This condition is easily corrected with corrective lenses or contact lenses.
Treatment: TONIFY KIDNEY  (Tonify LU8 & KD7, Sedate SP3, KD3)

ASTIGMATISM: A visual disturbance caused by an error in the refraction of light within the eye.
Treatment: TONIFY SPLEEN  (Tonify HT8 & SP2, Sedate LV1 & SP1)

PHOTOPHOBIA: An abnormal visual intolerance of light.
Treatment: SEDATE SPLEEN  (Sedate LU8 & SP5, Tonify LV1 & SP1) or Sedate SP4
